On-Line HR Services
As an added benefit to our clients, Affinity Benefit
Resources offers an internet based private employee
benefits internet solution. Employer and employees get
around-the-clock access to their own customized intranet
site for benefits and human resource tasks. The secured
portal allows employees to view introductory plan
information, benefit plan highlights, frequently asked
questions, and links to carriers' websites. Employees
can also search for a local provider, view eligibility
and employee handbooks, and download forms.
Benefits Enrollment
At the time of enrollment, Affinity Benefit Resources
through its subsidiaries, can facilitate the enrollment
process by offering enrollment packages, enrollment
checklist and benefits presentations in an individual or
meeting setting. Timely return of enrollment materials
will ensure that proper ID cards, handbooks and whatever
other required information is in the hands of the
employee and their families prior to the effective date
of requested coverage(s).
Section 125 Premium Only Plan (POP)
Allows employee contributions to employer-sponsored
benefit plan to be made with pre-tax dollars which
automatically increases spendable income and reduces the
employer's gross payroll.
Section 125 Cafeteria Plan
The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) lets employees'
set-aside dollars that can be used throughout the year
to reimburse for healthcare and dependent care expenses.
The money is placed in a flexible spending account
(FSA).
Health Care Flexible Spending Account - Covers eligible
health care expenses that are not reimbursed by medical,
dental or vision care plans that participants and their
families already have. The account helps participants
budget for planned expenses such as co-pays,
deductibles, and prescriptions.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account - Covers
eligible dependent care expenses incurred to allow the
participant, or if married, the participant and spouse,
to work or attend school full-time.
Cobra Administration
Responsibility for compliance with COBRA (consolidated
Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985) falls on the
employer, but Diamond Administrative Services can help.
For a nominal fee, Diamond Administrative Services will
help administer COBRA functions, such as providing
notices, billing, and collecting premium. This may save
some time-consuming paperwork.
